2019 - November

Eve

This was the month when I began to draw over background photos

It all began when I photographed the modeling platform 

while waiting for the model to return.

Then it occurred to me that the figure would look better

 against some idyllic scene pulled off the internet 

-- in this case, a waterfall in Maui

-- or perhaps set into an  English formal garden

Then I tried putting the  figure into my own backyard

The other settings, so far, all come from sites located nearby

 -- a forest preserve or a friend's garden.

That's the DesPlaines  River in the background

We had an early snowfall, soon after Halloween
